In other words, it forms the basic prototype of humanity\u2019s genealogy. It first describes Noah\u2019s youngest son, Japheth, then Ham, and lastly Noah\u2019s eldest son, Shem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From this chapter, we can form a foundational concept of humanity: the peoples of different regions originate from these three ancestors\u2014the sons of Noah. Apart from them, no other human beings survived, because every other human living creature was destroyed by the floodwaters. All people living today are descendants of Noah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we know, if a writer wants to create a novel, he may feel frustrated by the number of names he must invent, since they are complex and difficult to remember. However, Moses recorded all these names and genealogies. Therefore, this must have been revelation from God to Moses; otherwise, Moses could not have written such detailed information. Hence, all nations ultimately trace their origins to this chapter.
