Genesis4_10-12

Genesis 4:10-12

And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.

And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

The voice of Abel’s blood cried to God from the ground, and God accepted this voice and its owner’s case. God asked Cain what he had done to his brother and gave him the evidence of the blood’s voice. A righteous man died and caused justice from God to be enacted. Since the ground received Abel’s blood from Cain’s hand, he had to confess his crime and receive judgment from God. It was the first murder in human history. Although Abel had died and only the defendant and judge attended this trial, the ground provided the evidence. The righteous man is very precious in the eyes of Jehovah God.

Hence, Cain became a fugitive on the earth. It was a punishment for a farmer who was an inhabitant of a place. The corn needs time to grow and yield. Meanwhile, if someone met Cain, they could kill him because Cain was a vagabond on the earth.

God is just and executes righteousness among humanity.
