Genesis7_21-24

Genesis 7:21-24

And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:

All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land , died.

And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive , and they that were  with him in the ark.

And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

There was no mercy, no forgiveness, and no tolerance when justice was executed by the righteous God Elohim. Whoever you were, there was only one outcome at that time—death. Evil may cause fear or commit small acts of violence when provoked, but the righteous God removes all the wicked directly when they commit sins. Therefore, these verses provide a detailed list of the different kinds of creatures and their destruction. Except for the fish, all animals, birds, and humans were destroyed by the floodwaters. For one hundred and fifty days, no living creature remained in the vast waters except those in the ark.

According to the record, the giants who were heroes in those days were also removed. Even though they were stronger than ordinary human beings in some ways, they shared the same end as the animals. There was no possibility of escaping the execution of divine justice, except for those who followed God and entered the ark to remain alive.

When humanity becomes filled with so much sin that destruction is inevitable, God Elohim removes them from the earth and leaves it for the righteous. Since God is righteousness itself, the greater the sin, the greater the punishment from God. To deal with sin and wickedness, God uses disasters far beyond what sinners can escape. There will be no technique to escape the fire in the second destruction that comes from God’s anger.
