Genesis2_18

Genesis 2:18

And Jehovah Elohim said, It is not good that Man should be  alone; I will make him a helpmate, his like.

From other verses, it is not mentioned that Adam felt lonely. After God told him about the two different trees in the garden of Eden, Adam did not make his choice. Meanwhile, in the plan of God, humanity was to be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it, because the adversary of God was still active in the universe.

On the other hand, Adam was satisfied with his current situation, because there were enough trees for food and for the pleasure of the soul (psychological enjoyment), and Jehovah God was sufficient for his spirit.

The word alone mentioned here, in fact, expresses that the one true God revealed Himself as being alone in the universe. That is why He created a collective man as His complement. However, this process was still not completed. Among all creation, nothing was suitable for Jehovah God except the collective man.

When you examine the Bible from this perspective, you will understand many more verses.

God would make for Adam a helper suitable for him. In reality, this helper would advance God’s plan by enabling humanity to reproduce, and at the same time bring Adam to make a choice.
