Genesis 3:14-16

And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

According to the judgment of God Elohim, all their realms of activity were limited and they lost some of their privileges. The serpent was cursed above all cattle and every beast and walked on its belly. Beasts always represent evil spirits in the Bible. This meant that the serpent received a more serious curse than other members of its dark kingdom. It seemed that God Elohim had lost His beloved humans to the adversary—Satan. But in fact, God Elohim won and put His enemy into a jail on earth. Actually, Satan was locked into the flesh of humans.

On the other hand, the serpent also became a devourer of humans who were made from dust. Since the serpent was confined to the earth, our focus should not be on it but should turn toward heaven. Otherwise, we are still deceived by the serpent and its followers.

However, God Elohim also promised the woman that her seed would bruise the head of the seed of the serpent. Eventually, Jesus Christ defeated the enemy and overcame the kingdom of darkness.

But for the woman, God Elohim multiplied her sorrow and her pain in conception to bring forth children. This also serves as a limitation to the woman and causes her to wander into sin. According to the final verse, women are to desire and be ruled by men; however, the reverse is true currently. Perhaps men don’t obey the command of God nowadays.
